The 8th History and Philosophy of Physics in the Netherlands (HPP-NL) workshop will take place in Utrecht on Monday, 30th of November from 13:00 to 18:00 (walk-in from 12:30), followed by an optional dinner. This edition will feature talks by NL-based historians and philosophers of physics; Caspar Jacobs, Mor Lumbroso, Luca Forgiarini, Sanne Vergouwen, Thijs Latten, and Klaas Landsman. Additionally, the workshop will close with a mock fishbowl debate on the thesis “History of Physics is irrelevant for Philosophy of Physics.” The debate is moderated by Hieke Huistra, with Niels Martens as (mock) proponent and Jeroen van Dongen as opponent.
